iPhone 6 Camera Might be 13 Megapixels
We have been hearing a lot of rumors and suggestions regarding the Apple iPhone 6. Some related to the screen, some related to the chipset and now there’s another. Many reports suggest that iPhone 6 camera might be 13 megapixels. If it is a 13 megapixels camera then it is a huge upgrade over the iPhone 5s which only has a camera of 8 megapixels. We all know how good Apple is at making their cameras so clear. Their iPhone 4 would easily beat 70% of the smartphones who have 8 megapixel cameras. What should we expect from this if it is true?
The website which came up with this report is GforGames. They believe the iPhone 6 camera might be 13 megapixels and will be an improved version of the Sony Exmor sensor. As far as we are concerned, this camera can support up to 20 megapixels. The Sony Exmor IMX220 is 1 – 2.3 inch sensor. The same sensor is supposed to be used in one of the Sony devices, the Sony Xperia Z3 – An Android device which would definitely give a good competition to all the smartphones in the market. However, in the past experience we have experienced that Apple hesitates to increase the amount of pixels because it has a negative impact in low lighting. Although, they are still known to spend million of dollars in improving the picture quality and the cameras of their devices. This is why, they are one of the best and make us believe that iPhone 6 camera might be 13 megapixels.
A point to be noted is that Apple usually puts high-end cameras in the S models plus this report has come from a Chinese web-forum. So we cant be sure but iPhone 6 camera might be 13 megapixels. However, the year is 2014. A lot of other mobile phones have higher megapixels. Why can’t Apple have it too? If they do, the iPhone 6 might have the best camera in all of the smartphones. Provided that they keep the quality as they have kept in their older models.
